Overview

The Senior Plant Maintenance Technician is a highly skilled individual responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining plant machinery to ensure operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols, including wearing appropriate PPE.
  • Maintain a high level of situational awareness to prevent accidents.
  • Report any safety concerns, incidents, or equipment malfunctions promptly.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance on critical systems to avoid downtime.
  • Utilize welding and cutting expertise to fix or replace damaged components.
  • Recommend or implement upgrades to enhance equipment performance.
  • Inspect quarry equipment to identify signs of mechanical failure.
  • Use advanced diagnostic techniques to assess the root cause of mechanical issues.
  • Monitor operational efficiency of quarry machinery and make necessary adjustments.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in plant maintenance and repair operations.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Deep understanding of plant equipment and maintenance best practices.
  • Expertise in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical failures.
  • Proficiency in welding, cutting, and using advanced tools for repairs.
  • Strong knowledge of equipment teardown and rebuild processes.
