Job Description

Overview

The Welder’s role involves welding parts quickly and accurately according to customer specifications, ensuring high-quality standards in a fast-paced environment. The position requires reading blueprints and using various welding techniques to meet customer needs and promote company growth.

Responsibilities

  • Fit and weld parts according to customer specifications.
  • Read and understand blueprints and weld symbols.
  • Ensure proper setup of welding machines for each job.
  • Use measuring tools to verify dimensions and fit of parts.
  • Perform MIG and fillet welding, including 3G uphill and double V groove welding.
  • Maintain a clean working environment.
  • Follow safety procedures and use proper PPE.
  • Complete other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience or training required.
  • Entry Level requires basic understanding of welding safety and techniques.
  • Intermediate Level requires proficiency in MIG welding and basic TIG welding.
  • Advanced Level requires high precision welding skills and knowledge of metallurgy.
  • Certifications: AWS D1.1 is required and must be obtained during the interview process.
