Overview

The Code Welder position involves planning, laying out, assembling, and installing metal parts and products according to specifications and blueprints. The role requires a range of welding skills and the operation of various power tools while adhering to safety policies.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and layout metal parts and equipment according to specifications.
  • Assemble and install metal products based on blueprints.
  • Perform a variety of welding tasks including light tacking and heavy welding.
  • Operate power tools such as saws, grinders, drills, and welders.
  • Comply with company safety policies and maintain a clean work area.

Requirements

  • Wide range of welding skills including light tacking to heavy welding.
  • Ability to perform flat, up, and overhead welds according to ASME Codes.
  • Experience operating power tools and overhead cranes.
