Overview

We're currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Millwright to join our dynamic team. You will be instrumental in ensuring our machinery is in top condition, enhancing our operational efficiency, and maintaining our reputation for quality.

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, dismantle, and overhaul machinery as required.
  • Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
  • Align and adjust machinery as needed.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues and provide timely solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment.
  • Collaborate with a team of technicians and provide guidance when needed.
  • Welding and fabrication of machine parts.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Millwright or similar role in the manufacturing industry.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical and hydraulic systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read and understand engineering blueprints and schematics.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Relevant certifications in mechanical maintenance or related fields.
  • Physical ability to handle heavy machinery.
  • High school diploma; further education or certification is preferred.

  • Individuals may need to sit or stand as needed.
  • May require walking primarily on a level surface for periodic periods throughout the day.
  • Reaching above shoulder heights, below the waist or lifting as required to retrieve, store or handle equipment or materials throughout the work day.
  • Proper lifting techniques required.
  • May include lifting up to 50 pounds for equipment, on occasion.
  • The performance of this position will require exposure to the manufacturing areas where the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses with side shields and hearing protection are required.
