Overview

We are searching for an experienced Welder at our Portland, OR facility. This role is perfect for a candidate who just received their welding certification or has less than 1-2 years of experience and is looking to be part of an amazing team!

Responsibilities

  • Setup machines to exacting specifications and prepare machines for production
  • Operate various projection welding machine setups
  • Arrange job parts by line number and by like pieces for processing
  • Check all dimensions/locations of hardware cut-outs and frame handing for accuracy
  • Mark identification information on material for communication with fellow employees as well as end user
  • Install all required reinforcements, including but not limited to hinge and strike reinforcements, various kinds of anchors, corner gussets and closer reinforcements

Requirements

  • Must be proficient at reading work orders
  • Must have a concern for quality control
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
