Overview

The Millwright position involves installing, troubleshooting, repairing, fabricating, and maintaining the facility’s equipment, tools, and machinery. The role offers a safe and friendly work environment with competitive pay, benefits, and opportunities for advancement.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoots and repairs manufacturing machinery, tools, and equipment for various systems.
  • Troubleshoots and repairs facility’s operations and physical systems in compliance with applicable codes.
  • Fabrics machinery, tool, and equipment components as required.
  • Provides technical assistance in design and selection of equipment.
  • Adheres to safety rules and operates equipment safely.
  • Works with hazardous materials and machinery.
  • Completes logs and records.
  • Follows written and verbal instructions with minimal supervision.
  • Utilizes machinery manuals for troubleshooting assistance.
  • May engage in hazardous waste management activities.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Four years of Journeymen Maintenance responsibilities.
  • Completion of millwright training program or equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • Extensive mechanical background.
  • Ability to repair hydraulic, pneumatic, induction heating, lubrication, abrasion, and pressure systems.
  • Ability to weld in all positions with stick and MIG welders.
  • Ability to read and interpret specifications, blueprints, and drawings.
  • Ability to work in difficult conditions including exposure to noise, dust, and chemicals.
  • Ability to operate machine shop equipment, vertical mill, and lathe.
  • Electrical knowledge and motor removal skills.
  • Knowledge of vacuum technology and pumps.
  • Knowledge of forklift operation.
  • Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
