Overview

As a Collision Repair Specialist III with Penske, you’ll perform minor truck and trailer collision repairs, and with supervision some major repairs too, while using industry-leading technology and repair techniques. Responsibilities

  • Perform minor electrical system repairs.
  • Prepare surfaces for refinishes.
  • Repair or replace minor cab accessories.
  • Conduct minor cargo box repairs.
  • Assist Technician I and II in the removal, replacement, and repair of major components.
  • Maintain work area appearance and safety.
  • Complete other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

  • 2 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of related education and experience preferred.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Vocational/technical school preferred.
  • Certification of completion of technical school specializing in the repair/refinish of all series of truck and trailer preferred.
  • Working knowledge of tools of trade preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Basic computer skills required.
  • Ability to understand and comply with specific instructions and guidelines.
  • Ability to perform work adhering to DOT, OSHA, and Penske safety policies.
  • Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary and complete background investigation and drug screening.
