Overview

The Mechatronics Field Technician role involves collaborating with international teams to resolve technical issues and provide support to U.S. customers. The position requires a strong technical background and proficiency in Spanish or German, with responsibilities including installation assistance, troubleshooting, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with international teams across support, development, and after-sales departments to resolve technical matters and share knowledge.
• Assist service technicians during installation, commissioning, and maintenance of machines and systems.
• Provide technical support to U.S. based customers via phone, email, and virtual platforms.
• Accurately document service tickets and maintain records in the CRM system.
• Communicate with customers regarding the status and progress of their service tickets.
• Diagnose technical issues and determine appropriate solutions.
• Analyze and troubleshoot customer machinery to identify and resolve errors.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a technical field or equivalent, with strong technical aptitude.
• Solid understanding of mechanics, electrical systems, or PLC/software.
• Strong command of Spanish or German language skills is required.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and organized with a structured approach to work.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Programming knowledge (e.g., Siemens, PLC) is a plus, but not required.
• Open to working in a multicultural environment and ready to take on responsibility.

Additional Information

• Travel: 60%, with occasional international travel for training.
