Overview

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining advanced production machinery to ensure smooth operations and minimize downtime.

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to all Plant and Safety policies and procedures, including wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Ensure equipment meets safety standards and regulations.
  • Troubleshoot equipment to minimize unplanned downtime.
  • Plan and execute predictive/preventative maintenance efforts.
  • Perform root-cause problem solving for equipment repairs and improvements.
  • Participate in special projects on equipment upgrades or installations.
  • Utilize fabrication skills such as cutting and welding.
  • Read and interpret schematics for process and instrumentation diagrams.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
  • Complete PM’s/work order paperwork before leaving the plant.
  • Communicate important information during shift changes.
  • Collaborate with peers to transfer technical knowledge.
  • Provide training to production staff on equipment operation.
  • Work on continuous improvement projects with leadership.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent; Associates degree or certification in a technical field preferred.
  • 1-3 years of industrial maintenance experience in high-speed manufacturing.
  • Experience in beverage or packaging preferred.
  • Safe use of various hand and power tools, welders, and industrial shop equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics for equipment.
  • Forklift experience is a plus.
  • Proficient in MS Office, Excel, Word, email, and CMMS.

Additional Information

  • This position is exposed to occupational hazards including high noise levels and chemicals.
  • Must have sufficient endurance to perform tasks over long periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/move for 8-12 hours per day.
  • Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
