Overview

Neckover Trailer Mfg. designs and builds livestock, hay, and equipment trailers, focusing on heavy-duty steel construction for durability and reliability. The Welder / Fabricator will be responsible for welding and fabricating components for livestock trailers, primarily installing pipe and planks on steel trailer assemblies.

Responsibilities

  • Weld and fabricate components for livestock trailers.
  • Install pipe and planks on steel trailer assemblies.
  • Serve as a float on the assembly line, moving between departments as needed.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated proficiency in welding, including experience with thin-metal MIG welding.
  • Knowledge of materials used in trailer and truck bed fabrication, particularly structural steel.
  • Ability to learn and interpret fabrication layouts.
  • Strong commitment to quality, safety, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift and move materials, stand for extended periods, bend, and work with agility.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented setting.
