Overview

Luuso Manufacturing is hiring an experienced MIG Welder/Fabricator. The company seeks a dependable welder who can read drawings, set up a MIG welder, and produce clean, consistent welds on steel parts and assemblies.

Responsibilities

  • MIG weld primarily mild steel components and assemblies
  • Set up and operate MIG welding equipment
  • Weld various material thicknesses, including sheet metal and heavier plate
  • Read and understand shop drawings and dimensions
  • Fit, tack, and weld parts accurately
  • Perform basic grinding, deburring, and cleanup when required
  • Inspect your own work for quality and accuracy
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Follow shop safety procedures

Requirements

  • Previous MIG welding experience required
  • Ability to produce clean, consistent welds
  • Ability to read basic fabrication drawings
  • Experience welding sheet metal and structural/fabricated components
  • Able to accurately measure using a tape measure, square, calipers, etc.
  • Reliable and able to work independently
  • Must have your own basic hand tools
  • Fabrication experience is a plus
  • Experience with production welding, laser-cut parts, press brake formed parts, and metal assemblies is preferred
