Overview

A leading plastics manufacturer is seeking a qualified Maintenance Tech to join their growing team in Greenville, OH in providing sustainable solutions for customers and the environment.

Responsibilities

• Completes projects with minimal guidance to minimize equipment down time and lost production capability.
• Troubleshoots mechanical devices in operation and examines devices to remove defective parts.
• Sets up and operates shop machinery such as drill press, grinders, band saws, and welder.
• Installs new or repairs/modifies electronic, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment as needed.
• Improves reliability and up-time of all equipment with a preventive maintenance mentality.
• Operates forklift and aerial lift platform as needed.
• Researches supplies, parts and tools needed to efficiently complete work orders.
• Assists in maintaining an accurate inventory of parts using a CMMS.
• Contributes to upkeep and updating of required paperwork such as maintenance logs and documents.
• Supports the vision, mission and guiding principles of the company.
• Follows applicable Safety, Health and Environmental rules and guidelines.

Requirements

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• 3 years of industrial mechanical systems maintenance experience.
• 2 years of industrial AC and DC electrical experience.
• Experience reading and interpreting electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics.
• Ability or experience troubleshooting and repairing PLC's.
• Ability or experience operating various tools including hand tools and power tools.
• Experience with SAP is preferred.
• Any types of related Certification/Licenses are preferred.
