Overview

We are currently seeking applicants for a construction project in Childress, TX, offering a competitive wage of $42/hr and a $150 per diem.

Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality welds in various positions using diverse materials like carbon steel, stainless steel, and alloys.
  • Interpret complex technical drawings, schematics, and welding procedure specifications (WPS).
  • Cut, bevel, fit, and align metal parts prior to welding, and clean/grind welds to meet strict tolerance standards.
  • Maintain consistent passing rates on X-ray/non-destructive testing (NDT) and adhere to strict OSHA and site-specific safety regulations.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of industrial, structural, or pipeline welding experience.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in restrictive, high, or demanding weather conditions.
  • Current ASME, ANSI, or API certifications.
  • NCCER certification or willingness to take the test.
