Overview

The Ironworker/Foreman position involves the erection of structural steel and various related tasks, ensuring safety and precision in construction activities. Candidates must possess reliable transportation and maintain a drug-free status.

Responsibilities

  • Erect structural steel by setting columns, beams, joists, and trusses.
  • Perform bolt-up work by installing and tightening bolts, aligning connections, and supporting fit-up.
  • Make initial connections at height using spud wrenches and fall protection.
  • Attach loads, signal cranes, and ensure safe lifts during rigging.
  • Install and secure metal decking, edge forms, and shear studs.
  • Perform structural welds or torch cutting if certified.
  • Interpret plans, details, and erection drawings.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and a safe work area.

Requirements

  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Must be drug-free.
  • Must be able to pass a background check when needed.
