Better Business Staffing LLC is currently seeking dependable, hardworking, and motivated Hollow Metal Fabricators to join a fast-paced manufacturing and production team in Austin, Texas. This position is ideal for experienced individuals who enjoy hands-on fabrication work and producing quality craftsmanship in a deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and assemble hollow metal products and components.
• Perform welding duties safely and efficiently.
• Accurately measure materials to within 1/16 of an inch.
• Read and interpret work orders, layouts, shop drawings, blueprints, and production instructions accurately.
• Operate power tools such as saws, drills, grinders, and related fabrication equipment safely and efficiently.
• Cut, fit, assemble, and prepare metal materials for production.
• Inspect fabricated products to ensure quality standards and specifications are met.
• Support production timelines and maintain quality standards.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas.
• Follow all safety procedures and operational guidelines.
• Work collaboratively and communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
• Perform additional fabrication and warehouse duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 to 2 years of fabrication, welding, or related manufacturing experience required.
• Welding experience is required.
• Experience working with hollow metal is preferred.
• Experience operating power tools such as saws, drills, grinders, and related fabrication equipment is required.
• Must be able to measure accurately to within 1/16 of an inch.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders, shop drawings, blueprints, or production instructions preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Must demonstrate good common sense and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality required.
• Ability to stand on your feet throughout the workday.
• Ability to follow instructions and always work safely.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
• Must have reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Additional Information

• Location: Austin, Texas
• Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 6:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Overtime may be required based on production needs.
• The team may decide to start one hour earlier or work additional hours on Fridays as needed.
