Overview

We are hiring for an experienced gas plumber or pipe fitter. This position requires a range of skills including welding and the ability to read blueprints.

Responsibilities

  • Welding, grinding, drilling, punching, cutting, plasma cutting, and pipe threading.
  • Building air systems on machines before and after the refractory department.
  • Using necessary work tools and safety equipment supplied, except for basic welding tools.
  • Reading blueprints and filling out quality control paperwork with serial numbers and maintaining stock inventory.

Requirements

  • Experience as a gas plumber or pipe fitter.
  • Ability to read blueprints.
  • Physical ability to lift 50 lbs. continuously, climb ladders, and bend frequently.
