Overview

We are seeking experienced skilled Diesel Technicians / Fabricators and Truck Lot Attendants to join our team. The Diesel Technician will focus on diagnosing and repairing diesel engines and heavy equipment, while the Truck Lot Attendant will manage the parking and retrieval of large trucks, ensuring exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Fabricate parts using welding techniques and other methods for medium and heavy duty fleets.
  • Perform diagnostics and repairs on diesel engines, including ISUZU and HINO.
  • Utilize diagnostic tools to troubleshoot mechanical issues.
  • Repair or replace components including transmissions, air brakes, hydraulics, and HVAC systems.
  • Execute vehicle maintenance tasks such as brake repair and tire service.
  • Interpret schematics for electrical systems repair.
  • Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Park and retrieve box trucks and tractors efficiently.
  • Maintain an accurate spreadsheet log of all vehicles parked in the lot.
  • Greet customers and provide assistance with strong guest service skills.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the lot, including washing vehicles.
  • Assist with truck delivery and complete proper documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with team members regarding vehicle status.
  • Perform basic maintenance tasks to support dealership operations.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a mechanic or service technician is required.
  • Proficiency in working with heavy equipment operation is essential.
  • Up to date knowledge and experience with welding and fabrication.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in truck and automotive repair.
  • Experience with electrical systems is preferred; soldering skills are a plus.
  • Must be able to drive box trucks and tractors, including manual transmission.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Basic computer skills, including comfort using spreadsheets.
  • Previous experience in truck valet parking or as a delivery driver is a plus.
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate with diverse clientele.
