Overview

A specialty architectural millwork shop in Brooklyn is seeking a skilled woodworker/fabricator with 2-5 years of relevant experience to join their small workshop team. The ideal candidate should have a keen eye for detail and a commitment to high-quality work.

Responsibilities

  • Have hands-on woodworking, fabrication, or other relevant technical experience.
  • Demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude and spatial reasoning.
  • Be comfortable working with woodworking machinery and hand tools.
  • Read and work accurately from technical shop drawings.
  • Follow established fabrication processes consistently.
  • Pay close attention when learning new processes and retain and apply what you have been taught.
  • Work safely, efficiently, and with focus.
  • Communicate clearly and work well within a small team.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of relevant woodworking experience.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to work with woodworking machinery and hand tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical shop drawings.
