Overview

Our established, century-old company serving the hospitality and furniture industries is looking for a highly skilled and motivated CERTIFIED Welder to join our team at our East Baltimore office. Your expertise will contribute to the successful completion of diverse construction, manufacturing, and assembly projects, helping us deliver top-tier results efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities

  • Perform MIG, TIG, laser welding techniques to join metal components with precision.
  • Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine welding requirements and specifications.
  • Conduct quality checks on welded components to ensure they meet required standards and notify supervisor of any mechanical or material issues.
  • Familiar with all forms of grinding and finishing of welds as required and pay attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Start up, stop, and setup the welding equipment.
  • Attach appropriate labels and tags to products and packages.
  • Pack finished goods into correct packages and boxes.
  • Other manufacturing tasks as needed.
  • Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements

  • AWS Certified Welder
  • Proficient in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding
  • Ability to weld aluminum (TIG/MIG required)
  • Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols
  • Knowledge of OSHA safety standards
  • Experience working with high-end fabrication equipment and complex assemblies
  • Familiarity with ISO standards, welding codes, and quality control procedures
  • Strong understanding of heat control, distortion, and metallurgy principles
  • 8+ years of working experience

What you'll be running

This posting calls for MIG, TIG, and Stick work. MIG (GMAW) feeds a continuous wire electrode through a shielding-gas nozzle.
