Overview

A fast-paced and rapidly growing manufacturing company in Chandler, AZ is seeking a Metal Fabricator specializing in Tig Welding of Stainless Steel gutters to join their team. The role involves fitting, joining, and fabricating products and accessories using appropriate measurement and welding techniques.

Responsibilities

  • TIG weld milled and stainless/carbon steel components as specified by layouts, engineering drawings, work orders, or verbal instructions.
  • Inspect and correct welds as necessary to meet product specifications.
  • Collaborate with co-workers in production of multi-component parts and large units.
  • Read production drawings and recognize whether the product is set up properly.
  • Set up the form as indicated in the production drawing with the correct bill of materials.
  • Make indicated modifications to the set-up as necessary.
  • Retrieve correct materials and perform various fabrication duties.
  • Organize workflow to meet parts fabrication department deadlines.
  • Perform required fabrication/assembly work using published specifications.

Requirements

  • Ability to read a tape measure and pass a tape measure test.
  • Knowledge of how to use hand tools.
  • General assembly experience.
  • Preferred experience running industrial horizontal and vertical band saws, industrial drills, or a punch press.
  • Welding and Tig welding experience.
  • Ability to read a blueprint.

Additional Information

  • 1st shift from 5:00 am to 2:30 pm, Monday to Friday.
