Overview

O2 Treehouse is a custom treehouse design-and-build company based in Petaluma, CA, with over 20 years in business and 85+ completed projects. They are looking for a skilled MIG welder to join their team for an upcoming project involving steel fabrication work that supports their treehouse structures.

Responsibilities

  • MIG weld mild steel components to project specifications
  • Grind and finish welds for a clean, professional appearance
  • Read and work from fabrication drawings/blueprints
  • Fit and tack components prior to final welding
  • Maintain a safe, organized work area and equipment
  • Collaborate with wood shop and build teams as needed

Requirements

  • Proven MIG welding experience with mild steel (structural/fabrication work preferred)
  • Comfortable with grinding and weld finishing
  • Ability to read fabrication drawings and work to tolerance
  • Own basic welding hand tools (welding machine and shop equipment provided)
  • Reliable, safety-minded, and detail-oriented
  • Prior experience in structural steel, architectural metalwork, or custom fabrication a plus
