Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dependable welder to join our fabrication team at The Art Firm in Paramount, CA. The ideal candidate will have experience in metal fabrication and welding, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Perform MIG, TIG, and/or Stick welding on a variety of metal materials
  • Read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and fabrication plans
  • Cut, grind, and prepare materials for welding and assembly
  • Fabricate and assemble metal structures, frames, and components
  • Inspect welds and finished products to ensure quality and accuracy
  • Operate fabrication equipment such as grinders, saws, and drill presses
  • Maintain welding tools, equipment, and workspace
  • Follow all safety procedures and company standards
  • Assist with installation or on-site work when required

Requirements

  • 2+ years of welding or metal fabrication experience
  • Ability to read and understand shop drawings or fabrication plans
  • Experience using common fabrication tools and machinery
  • Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a team environment
