Overview

A worker is needed for a metal fabrication shop in the Sacramento area. Previous architectural sign making experience and/or carpentry experience with welding is a plus. This is a full-time position with compensation based on experience.

Responsibilities

  • Grinding
  • Welding
  • Cutting
  • Clean and organize materials, hand tools, and work area

Requirements

  • Knowledge of basic hand tools
  • Ability to lift at least 50 lbs, bend, stoop, reach, and stand for an extended period of time
  • Ability to work proactively, independently and in an environment with others
  • Good personal and communication skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule and overtime, as necessary
