Overview

We are looking for a hands-on Part-Time Fabricator & Welder to join our team, primarily supporting the fabrication of custom aluminum awning and shade structures. This role requires experience with aluminum TIG welding and involves working from measurements, drawings, and job specifications to cut, fit, assemble, and weld aluminum components and frames.

Responsibilities

  • Measure, lay out, and fabricate custom aluminum awning and shade frames
  • Cut, fit, assemble, and TIG weld aluminum components
  • Produce clean, structurally sound, production-ready welds
  • Read and interpret basic fabrication drawings, dimensions, and job specifications
  • Use saws, drills, grinders, measuring tools, and other shop equipment
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
  • Assist with general shop fabrication and production as needed
  • Support install or service teams with additional field work if desired

Requirements

  • Aluminum TIG welding experience
  • General metal fabrication experience
  • Experience fabricating awnings, railings, gates, frames, or similar products is a plus
  • Strong measuring, layout, and basic fabrication skills
  • Comfortable using common fabrication and shop tools
  • Ability to work independently and produce consistent quality work
  • Pride in craftsmanship and attention to detail
  • Reliable transportation and a strong work ethic

Additional Information

  • Flexible part-time hours
  • Pay: $22–$30 per hour depending on experience
