Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform MIG welding and structural metal fabrication.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings.
  • Use measuring tools and hand tools to ensure precise layouts and cuts.
  • Assemble fabricated metal components into subassemblies and final machinery.
  • Conduct basic quality control checks on finished welds and maintain OSHA safety standards. Candidate Qualifications
  • Experienced Candidates (3–5+ Years): Proven background in MIG welding, complex blueprint reading, and high-precision assembly.
  • Entry-Level (0–2 Years): Trade school training or basic hands-on MIG welding experience. Must be highly trainable, coachable, and eager to learn.
  • Requirements: Basic shop math, precision measuring skills, fluent in English, and reliable transportation to Rose Hill, KS.

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in mechanical assembly, MIG welding, and the ability to read schematics. If you are detail-oriented and enjoy working in a manufacturing facility environment, we would like to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

  • Weld and fabricate metal components according to specifications
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics
  • Use tape measure and other measuring tools to ensure accuracy
  • Adhere to site codes and standards
  • Assemble fabricated parts into subassemblies and final products
  • Perform quality control checks on finished products

Skills:

  • 5+ years of welding experience
  • Proficiency in MIG welding
  • strong mechanical knowledge for fabrication
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics
  • Familiarity with OSHA safety standards
  • Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
  • Capability to fabricate and assemble metal components efficiently
