Job Duties

  • Perform MIG and TIG welding on steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and other metals as required.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, work orders, and welding symbols.
  • Assemble, fit, and fabricate metal components according to specifications.
  • Inspect completed welds to ensure quality, accuracy, and structural integrity.
  • Measure, cut, grind, and prepare materials prior to welding.
  • Operate welding equipment, grinders, saws, and other fabrication tools safely.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and quality standards.
  • Assist with additional production and fabrication duties as assigned.

Experience Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of MIG and/or TIG welding experience.
  • Ability to read blueprints and fabrication drawings.
  • Experience with measuring tools including tape measures, calipers, and gauges.
  • Ability to pass a welding test, if required.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Welding certifications (AWS or equivalent).
  • Experience welding stainless steel and aluminum.
  • Previous fabrication or manufacturing experience.
  • Forklift certification is a plus.

Physical Capabilities

  • Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and lift throughout the shift.
  • Frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing or fabrication environment with exposure to heat, noise, and industrial equipment.
  • Ability to wear required PPE, including welding helmet, gloves, safety glasses, and steel-toe boots.

What you'll be running

This posting calls for MIG and TIG work. MIG (GMAW) feeds a continuous wire electrode through a shielding-gas nozzle.
