Job Description

Overview

We have an amazing opportunity with a high-end Specialty Capital Equipment Fabricator seeking driven individuals for several positions. In this energetic role, you will oversee daily manufacturing operations, ensuring that production runs smoothly, efficiently, and safely.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and manage various manufacturing equipment, including forklifts and power tools, adhering strictly to safety protocols.
  • Conduct routine inspections of machinery and tools, identifying opportunities for process improvement and efficiency enhancements.
  • Handle trim, file, grind, deburr and clean surfaces or joint of assembled or welded parts.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, assisting with shop cleanup.
  • Ability to read blueprints/drawings.
  • Understand fitting and fabrication.

Requirements

  • Must have a valid Driver's License and a good driving record.
  • Experience with MIG or TIG Welding (as a Welder, must pass onsite welding test).
  • Electrical/Plumbing experience.
  • HVAC experience, a plus.
  • Solar Install, a plus.
  • General Maintenance experience, a plus.
  • Proven experience in a manufacturing or production environment with hands-on mechanical work.
  • Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, measuring instruments, and manual handling techniques.
  • Knowledge of safety standards in production environments, including safety protocol adherence and heavy lifting procedures.
  • Prior experience managing or supporting production or assembly teams is highly desirable.

What you'll be running

This posting calls for MIG and TIG work. MIG (GMAW) feeds a continuous wire electrode through a shielding-gas nozzle. TIG (GTAW) uses a non-consumable tungsten electrode with filler added by hand, giving the operator the most control of any process. It is slow, demanding, and the standard for stainless, aluminum, and anything where the bead has to look as good as it holds.
