Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to join the maintenance team at a busy manufacturing facility specializing in the production and processing of plywood and lumber products. This is a great opportunity for a dependable, mechanically minded maintenance professional who enjoys troubleshooting equipment, performing repairs, and keeping a manufacturing operation running safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial manufacturing equipment.
  • Perform scheduled and preventive maintenance on machinery and facility equipment.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues involving 120V, 240V, and 480V systems.
  • Identify mechanical, electrical, and operational problems and make necessary repairs.
  • Help minimize equipment downtime by responding quickly to maintenance issues.
  • Perform routine inspections and identify potential equipment problems before failures occur.
  • Work safely around industrial machinery and manufacturing equipment.
  • Operate and work around forklifts, manlifts, and other material-handling equipment.
  • Assist with equipment installation, adjustments, modifications, and repairs.

Requirements

  • Previous industrial maintenance experience.
  • Experience diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining industrial machinery.
  • Preventive maintenance experience.
  • Electrical troubleshooting experience with 120V, 240V, and 480V.
  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Dependable with a strong work history.
  • Mechanically minded and comfortable working with tools and industrial equipment.
  • Comfortable working around forklifts, manlifts, and other material-handling equipment.
