Overview

Join a leading company in the Aerospace industry as a Welder, where you will support the fabrication and assembly of metal components and welded structures. This role requires experience with TIG and MIG welding processes and a strong commitment to quality and safety.

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret basic blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
  • Fit, assemble, and weld components according to specifications.
  • Assist Journeyman Welders with fabrication and assembly projects.
  • Perform TIG and MIG welding on various materials and assemblies.
  • Use welding fixtures, jigs, and measuring tools to ensure accurate assembly.
  • Operate hand grinders and other fabrication tools to prepare and finish welded parts.
  • Perform quality checks to verify weld integrity and dimensional accuracy.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety procedures.
  • Support fabrication activities as directed by supervisors or lead personnel.
  • Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment, or completion of a recognized welding trade school.
  • Experience with TIG and MIG welding processes.
  • Ability to read and interpret basic engineering drawings and blueprints.
  • Experience assisting with fabrication and assembly of components from engineering specifications.
  • Familiarity with hand and power tools, including grinders and measuring instruments.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

What you'll be running
