Overview

The Maintenance Technician II position offers a full-time opportunity in a food manufacturing environment with a starting pay of $29 - $32.50 per hour. The role involves advanced preventive maintenance and troubleshooting on conveyor systems and food production machinery, with opportunities for advancement in a growing company known for popular retail brands.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct advanced preventive maintenance and troubleshooting on conveyor systems and food production machinery.
  • Perform complex mechanical repairs including shaft keying, sprocket broaching, and stainless steel welding.
  • Assist with equipment setup, teardown, welding, fabrication, and installation of new or modified plant machinery.
  • Diagnose mechanical issues through observation and use of precision measuring instruments.
  • Utilize SAP software to document maintenance activities and track work orders.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED; two-year degree in specialized maintenance trade preferred.
  • 3+ years of related experience.
  • Basic to advanced mechanical knowledge, electrical and building skills.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
