Job Description

Overview

Jobot is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for bottling and filling production lines in the pharmaceutical and consumer healthcare industry. The role offers competitive pay, excellent benefits, and opportunities for growth in a company committed to improving people's lives.

Responsibilities

  • Perform general maintenance duties such as replacing valves, pumps, motors, and gear reducers.
  • Work with packaging equipment including labelers, fillers, cappers, and case sealers.
  • Disassemble and assemble electric motors, pumps, and hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Repair machinery and conveyor belts.
  • Maintain technical and professional knowledge.
  • Perform miscellaneous duties as required for plant maintenance.
  • Basic machinist experience using lathe and mill is a plus.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in the cosmetics, food, or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Ability to communicate in English.
  • In-depth knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical processes.
  • Ability to read and work from mechanical and electrical prints.
  • Knowledge and skill to use a variety of hand and power tools.
  • Analytically oriented to troubleshoot and establish root causes of problems.
  • Willingness to work overtime and be on call for off-hours emergencies.
  • Must have own tools.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is helpful but not mandatory.
