Overview

The Maintenance Tech 1 position at Valence Surface Technologies involves troubleshooting, supporting, and repairing production equipment in a manufacturing setting. The role requires compliance with safety rules and includes various maintenance tasks to ensure operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, support, and repair all production equipment.
  • Determine materials, parts, and equipment for repair and installation.
  • Install, inspect, repair, and maintain mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Coordinate and participate in scheduled preventive maintenance.
  • Inspect, operate, and maintain steam, heating, cooling, and water treatment systems.
  • Complete necessary documentation as per company guidelines.
  • Design and implement installation of new equipment and tools.
  • Comply with all company safety rules and policies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Preferred 1 year of mechanical experience.
  • Preferred 1 year of electrical experience.
