Robotic Welder Service Technician / Field Service Technician

Location: Schaumburg, IL

Join my client as a hands-on technical expert supporting advanced robotic welding systems across North America. You’ll keep critical automation running, solve complex challenges, and help customers get maximum performance from their equipment.

What You’ll Be Doing

Install, repair, calibrate, and maintain robotic welding equipment Troubleshoot servo systems, power supplies, and E-stop circuits Support robot programming and system installations Train customers on equipment operation and maintenance Assemble, test, and support new and used robotic systems

About You

Electrical trade training or related associate degree preferred Knowledge of robotic equipment such as ABB, Fanuc, or Kuka Able to interpret schematics, layouts, and technical manuals PLC support/programming skills preferred Strong customer communication and troubleshooting skills
