Overview

Regal Rexnord is seeking a Repair Technician I for their Aerospace and Defense business, which is experiencing rapid growth. This fully onsite role involves working with machinery and tools to assemble and validate parts, offering an opportunity for career advancement in a supportive culture with competitive pay and benefits.

Responsibilities

  • Disassemble, assemble, and validate parts using precision measuring equipment.
  • Set up and operate laser marking equipment to mark parts per print and customer specifications.
  • Set up and operate orbital former and roll closer for mechanical shaft seals.
  • Inspect lapped surfaces for defects.
  • Package finished parts as required per work instructions.
  • Maintain accurate setup operation records.
  • Inspect seal features for defects.
  • Work from complex engineering drawings or work instructions.
  • Operate computer to generate labels and access ERP information.
  • Operate various types of cleaning equipment.
  • Participate in efforts to improve processes and material flow.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve operating difficulties.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 1-3 years of technical experience in machining, auto shop, or parts assembling.
  • Ability to learn to set up and run manual lathe and end mill without supervision.
  • Experience with setup and run ID/OD, arbor and surface grinders preferred.
  • Ability to create shop orders.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems.
  • Able to read, write, and speak English.
  • Ability to read and understand complex drawings and work instructions.
  • Ability to understand and comply with FARs.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Basic inspection of components.
  • Moderate physical demand required.
  • Computer literate.
  • Continuous mental and visual attention required.
