Overview

The Maintenance Planner is responsible for managing maintenance operations, contractor training, and project planning within a manufacturing environment. This role requires a highly skilled maintenance professional to ensure safety compliance and effective troubleshooting of plant systems.

Responsibilities

• Handle Energy Control Procedures (ECP's) and Lock Tag Try (LTT) system.
• Train and audit the maintenance process regularly.
• Ensure all contractors complete safety compliance paperwork before projects.
• Oversee contractors on-site during project completion.
• Work with the Reliability Leader and Controller on project completion.
• Use PLC basics for troubleshooting and adjusting equipment.
• Analyze problems to determine root causes and reduce cycle time for resolutions.
• Understand basic manufacturing processes and business concepts.
• Install, modify, or maintain plant equipment.
• Read and analyze blueprints and technical data.
• Inspect plant equipment to identify potential problems.
• Comply with environmental policies and maintain good housekeeping practices.
• Conduct basic welding, pipefitting, and electrical troubleshooting.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum two years of plant experience or demonstrated capability in troubleshooting major plant systems.
• Proficiency in basic computer skills and SAP PM Module.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or have valid proof of authorization to work in the United States.
• Complete and pass Electrical CD Rom training provided by the plant.

Additional Information

• Regular attendance on-site and ability to rotate to varying shifts.
