Overview

At Parker Aerospace, we develop technologies and innovative solutions for the lifecycle of aircraft, including aftermarket support. As an Assembly & Test Operator on the 2nd shift, you will be responsible for routine assembling and testing functions in a team environment, contributing to Parker's mission of enabling engineering breakthroughs.

Responsibilities

  • Hand deburr components.
  • Ensure all equipment is calibrated according to the calibration schedule.
  • Produce and inspect assemblies for conformance to specifications.
  • Rework malfunctions disclosed by test data.
  • Record test results on data forms.
  • Interpret blueprints, engineering orders, assembly routes, test specifications, and quality directives.
  • Observe all safety rules and maintain a FOD-free work area.
  • May be required to run an automatic weld machine.
  • Perform other related responsibilities.

Requirements

  • HS diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-3 years of assembly/test or related experience.
  • Demonstrated manual dexterity.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
  • Must be able to read and understand blueprints.
  • Working knowledge of machine shop mathematics.
  • Effective English verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with others and be a participative team player.
