Overview

PCL is seeking experienced Laborers to work on a Civil Project in Phoenix, Arizona. The company is committed to building better communities and values safety and teamwork.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with above-ground and underground pipe installation for water and wastewater systems.
  • Support piping, mechanical, and tank installations.
  • Perform layout for tank placement and mechanical installations.
  • Read and interpret construction drawings with minimal supervision.
  • Assist with shooting elevations and maintaining proper grades.
  • Perform excavation and backfilling tasks safely and efficiently.
  • Support equipment operators and assist with basic machinery operation.
  • Plan and organize daily work tasks to support crew productivity.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
  • Follow all company policies and job-site safety procedures.
  • Perform other general labor and construction-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in water and wastewater construction preferred.
  • Experience working in and around underground utilities.
  • Knowledge of different types of underground utility installations.
  • Ability to dig to grade and follow layout requirements.
  • Ability to read and understand construction plans.
  • Ability to operate equipment and tools in a safe manner.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather and site conditions.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
