Overview

Archer Western is currently seeking a Common Laborer for the Chandler Water Treatment Plant in Chandler, AZ. The Common Laborer will perform tasks involving physical labor on construction jobsites including commercial, industrial, or heavy civil projects, and may operate hand and/or power tools as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Perform tasks including physical labor as instructed by supervisor
  • Work with crew members and operate a variety of hand and power tools including drills and hammers
  • Clean and prepare construction sites as needed, including erecting scaffolding and removing debris
  • Load and unload construction supplies around the worksite manually and with equipment

Requirements

  • 1 year of verifiable experience preferred
  • Ability to climb and maintain balance on scaffold/ladder
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in adverse weather conditions
  • Ability to comply with all safety policies and procedures
  • Strong work ethic and desire to learn
  • Good manual dexterity; may be standing, bending, kneeling or sitting for long periods
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening
