Overview

DXP is dedicated to providing the highest quality of customer service through expertise in industrial products and technical services. The Field Service Technician will be responsible for repairing, fabricating, installing, and removing various types of pumps and related equipment, both in-shop and in the field.

Responsibilities

  • Remove and replace pumps and motors.
  • Perform laser alignment of pumps and motors.
  • Conduct vibration analysis (preferred).
  • Handle start-ups and troubleshooting.
  • Change mechanical seals.
  • Work with API and ANSI pumps.
  • Repair centrifugal and plunger pumps.
  • Use precision measuring instruments proficiently.
  • Knowledge of dynamic balancing is a plus.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3-7 years experience in pump rebuilding.
  • Flexibility to work in both field and shop environments.
  • Extensive knowledge of rebuilding centrifugal pumping equipment.
  • Acceptable driving record according to company guidelines.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
