Overview

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Manufacturing Technician 2 for their location in Mesa, AZ. The role involves performing functions associated with all manufacturing operations, including setup and calibration tasks, rework, quality testing, and operating industrial equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform assembly operations of gun systems in a team or individual environment.
  • Manufacture assembly of subassemblies and top-level assemblies for gun systems.
  • Follow detailed operating procedures and collect/record data as necessary.
  • Demonstrate the ability to multi-task.
  • Interpret blueprints.
  • Follow detailed operating procedures and work instructions.
  • Maintain high attention to detail.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • 2 years of experience working on manufacturing assemblies.
  • Must be able to lift, push, pull and carry 40 lbs.
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Obtain coverage under Safe Explosive Act as employee possessor/responsible person upon starting.
  • Able to start work a 4/10 (Mon-Thurs) 5 A.M. – 3:30 P.M. schedule, work overtime and some weekends if needed.
