Overview

An established mechanical and fabrication contractor in Tempe, AZ is seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager to lead quality across its fabrication operations, specializing in process piping, welding, mechanical systems, industrial construction, semiconductor, mission-critical, and data center projects.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the company’s Quality Management System.
  • Manage SOPs, audits, and corrective actions.
  • Track quality metrics and implement continuous improvement.
  • Ensure welding and fabrication quality standards are met.
  • Lead a team of quality professionals.

Requirements

  • Quality leadership experience in welding, piping, mechanical, or fabrication environments.
  • Strong knowledge of welding and fabrication quality.
  • Experience developing and improving QMS procedures, SOPs, audits, and corrective-action processes.
  • Process piping or pipe fabrication experience strongly preferred.
  • AWS CWI preferred, but not required.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop QC personnel.
