Overview

Team 360 Staffing is seeking a skilled Electric Motor Winder to join an Automation Machinery Manufacturing company specializing in industrial repair services. In this hands-on role, you'll be responsible for winding, repairing, rebuilding, and maintaining electric motors used in various industrial and commercial applications.

Responsibilities

  • Wind and rewind electric motors according to technical specifications and schematics.
  • Diagnose electrical issues within motors using specialized testing equipment.
  • Repair and refurbish electric motors, including disassembly, cleaning, component replacement, and reassembly.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, soldering equipment, welding gear, and other mechanical tools for repairs.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of motors for wear, damage, or electrical faults.
  • Collaborate with service technicians and other team members to troubleshoot problems.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in motor winding or motor repair within a dealership or industrial setting.
  • Strong electrical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and wiring diagrams.
  • Hands-on experience with diesel engine repair, automotive repair, or heavy equipment maintenance is desirable.
  • Familiarity with generator repair, electrical systems, and mechanical components.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, soldering irons, and welding equipment safely.
  • Knowledge of Caterpillar machinery or similar heavy-duty equipment is a plus.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
  • Ability to lift heavy components safely during installation or repairs.
