Overview

Crown Technical Systems, a Flex Company, is a leader in power distribution and protection systems, specializing in customized, turn-key solutions. They are seeking a Building Assembler - Sheet Metal in Dallas, TX, responsible for assembling fabricated metal parts for substation building enclosures according to specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Review, analyze, and follow various blueprints, diagrams, drawing, procedures, and work instructions to complete assemblies.
  • Mechanical assembly of components including sheet metal and other materials.
  • Use various power tools and hand tools to accomplish assigned tasks.
  • Conduct quality assurance checks to confirm that assembled products meet specifications and quality standards.
  • Identify any product defects; record and report them accordingly.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory of necessary supplies, tools, and parts in workstation.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of related experience in assembly in a manufacturing setting.
  • Reading comprehension skills with the ability to interpret and follow written directions, blueprints, wiring drawings, schematics, and engineering diagrams.
  • Basic math skills to meet technical specifications and measurements.
  • Basic understanding of tools.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with the ability to safely operate powered equipment.
