Overview

True North Fleet Services, in partnership with PennFleet, is seeking a Body Technician who values craftsmanship, precision, and quality work. This role involves high-quality collision repair, refinishing, and structural work on heavy-duty equipment, supporting fleet uptime and appearance.

Responsibilities

  • Perform body repairs on heavy-duty trucks and trailers
  • Complete prep, paint, welding, fiberglass, and frame repair work
  • Assess damage and take ownership of repairs from start to finish
  • Ensure all work meets high-quality and safety standards
  • Maintain consistency in finish, alignment, and structural integrity
  • Accurately document repairs and work completed
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
  • Collaborate with shop leadership and team members to ensure workflow efficiency

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in body repair, collision, or refinishing (heavy-duty preferred)
  • Strong skills in painting, prepping, welding, fiberglass, and frame correction
  • Ability to assess damage and execute repairs independently
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced shop environment
  • Valid driver’s license required (CDL a plus, not required)
