About The Role

Kenco Hydraulics is seeking a Manual Machinist to join our service team. This role is focused on manual machining and hydraulic cylinder repair—not CNC production work. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience operating manual equipment and takes pride in precision repair, rebuild, and fabrication work.

This position supports the repair, maintenance, and rebuilding of hydraulic components, with a strong emphasis on quality, safety, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Perform manual machining operations using lathes, mills, and related equipment (no CNC work) Repair, rebuild, and refurbish hydraulic cylinders and components Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Perform welding and fabrication (MIG, TIG, and wire feed as needed) Inspect parts and completed work to ensure proper function and quality standards Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Follow all Kenco Hydraulics safety policies and procedures Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments Work overtime as needed to meet customer demands Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications & Skills

Required: Experience with manual machining (lathe, mill, drill press, etc.) (Candidates with CNC-only experience will not be a fit for this role) Welding and fabrication experience (MIG/TIG preferred) Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Ability to read and understand blueprints Hydraulic cylinder repair experience is a strong plus Ability to work independently and manage workflow efficiently Basic computer skills or willingness to learn for job tracking and documentation High attention to detail and commitment to quality Strong work ethic and reliability

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift up to 75 lbs regularly Frequent standing, bending, stooping, kneeling, and squatting Use of arms and legs with full range of motion Ability to push and pull as required

Compensation & Benefits

Work Location & Requirements

On-site role in Hatfield, PA Must be able to reliably commute or relocate prior to start Valid driver’s license with clean driving record preferred
