Overview

Kenco Hydraulics is seeking a Manual Machinist to join their service team, focusing on manual machining and hydraulic cylinder repair. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with manual equipment and a commitment to precision in repair and fabrication work.

Responsibilities

  • Perform manual machining operations using lathes, mills, and related equipment.
  • Repair, rebuild, and refurbish hydraulic cylinders and components.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Perform welding and fabrication as needed.
  • Inspect parts and completed work to ensure proper function and quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
  • Work overtime as needed to meet customer demands.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Experience with manual machining (lathe, mill, drill press, etc.).
  • Welding and fabrication experience (MIG/TIG preferred).
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints.
  • Hydraulic cylinder repair experience is a strong plus.
  • Ability to work independently and manage workflow efficiently.
  • Basic computer skills or willingness to learn for job tracking and documentation.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Strong work ethic and reliability.

What you'll be running
