Overview

Sojo Industries is seeking a skilled and proactive Automation Technician to support industrial machinery and warehouse operations. The role involves ensuring optimal equipment uptime through preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and electromechanical repairs while managing general facility maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance and repairs on electromechanical packaging machines, air compressors, tray formers, and other related equipment.
  • Evaluate equipment failures for root cause and collaborate with manager and coworkers for improvements.
  • Install modifications to equipment as instructed by manager.
  • Follow PM schedules and procedures, recording all relevant information.
  • Install replacement and upgraded equipment on machines.
  • Lubricate, clean, and service equipment.
  • Maintain M&R records as directed.
  • Maintain a safe, clean working area.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of proven experience as a plant mechanic or industrial maintenance technician.
  • Strong proficiency and hands-on experience with welding and metal fabrication are preferred.
  • Strong electrical troubleshooting and repair experience is highly preferred.
  • Solid understanding of industrial safety regulations (e.g., OSHA, MSHA).
