Overview

Bergey’s Inc. is a family-owned business servicing customer needs since 1924, with over 45 locations and more than 1,600 team members across Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, and New Jersey. The Shop Hand position involves maintaining a safe and clean working environment while performing basic repairs and assisting mechanics.

Responsibilities

  • Perform basic repairs in the shop
  • Maintain equipment and tools
  • Assist mechanics as needed
  • Perform entry level mechanic work
  • Drain/dispose of used oil filters properly
  • Empty trash
  • Use proper eye, hand and body protection when using products that require protection
  • Fill vehicles with fuel
  • Complete other tasks as assigned

Requirements

  • Valid Driver's License
  • Successful completion of pre-employment background checks and drug screening
