Overview

Optimized Process Designs, LLC (OPD) is seeking a QC Inspector for their jobsite in Baytown, TX. OPD is an engineering/construction company specializing in the natural gas, natural gas liquids, and petrochemical industries, known for its commitment to quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Lead efforts to implement improvements to quality and performance.
  • Approve incoming supplier materials by confirming specifications and conducting tests.
  • Ensure only approved welders, procedures, and materials are used in production.
  • Perform inspections professionally, safely, and without bias.
  • Document inspection results by completing reports and inputting data into the Construction Management System.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience as a Quality Control Inspector in the Oil & Gas Industry.
  • Proven ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Willingness to travel 100% of the time to locations outside the Houston area.

Additional Information

  • Capable of working in various outdoor weather conditions.
  • Standing for extended periods of time up to 12 hours per day.
  • Considerable physical activity including climbing, lifting, and bending.
