Overview

Turbine, Pump & Compressor LLC (TPC) is a specialized industrial repair and field service company focused on turbomachinery and rotating equipment. They are seeking an experienced Turbine Mechanic to perform hands-on disassembly, inspection, repair, and reassembly of industrial steam turbines and related equipment in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Disassemble, clean, inspect, and reassemble industrial turbines and related rotating equipment.
  • Measure and document critical clearances, fits, and dimensions using precision measuring tools.
  • Identify worn, damaged, or out-of-tolerance components and recommend repair or replacement.
  • Perform bearing, seal, packing, and rotor-related work to manufacturer and shop standards.
  • Support field service work as needed, including on-site disassembly, inspection, and reassembly.
  • Follow all safety procedures, quality processes, and documentation requirements.
  • Work closely with Project Managers, shop leads, and QA/QC to ensure quality and schedule adherence.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with industrial steam or gas turbines (shop or field).
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read drawings, manuals, and work scopes.
  • Proficiency with precision measuring tools (micrometers, dial indicators, feeler gauges, etc.).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a shop environment.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background check / drug screen.
  • Willingness to support occasional field work and overtime as needed.
