Turner Industries is a fully diversified industrial contractor headquartered in Baton Rouge, LA, with over 20,000 employees across the United States. They are seeking an experienced Shop Mechanic in Pasadena, TX, to work on small engine equipment, ensuring safety and efficiency in operations.

Responsibilities

  • Perform electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical repairs as well as preventative maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot issues with diesel engines.
  • Determine what parts and tools are necessary to make repairs.
  • Complete shop paperwork.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED certificate.
  • Post-secondary certificate or degree in engineering OR training as a mechanic is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience with diesel/heavy equipment repair.
  • TWIC Card.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Additional Information

  • 40 Hours+
  • Overtime and call-outs as needed - overtime paid at time-and-a-half.
  • Per diem and relocation is not available; the successful candidate will be a current resident in the Houston metro area.
